Indonesia's Express Group names PR agency

JAKARTA - Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX)-listed taxi operator Express Group has selected independent public relations firm Fortune PR for its communication campaign in the country.

The appointment came after a competitive pitch. Starting this month, the agency will handle the campaign, which focuses on enhancing the image and the reputation of Express Group in the market.

The company previously worked with Blue Bird Group in 2011 and 2012.

Merry Anggraini, corporate secretary of Express Group, said its goal is to become the leader in providing solutions for transportation services in Indonesia. Express Taxi has been serving in some major cities such as Jakarta, Medan, Surabaya, Semarang, Bali and Lombok.

“Therefore we need a strong and reliable communication partner to support us achieving our goals,” she added.

Express Group provides taxi services and value added transportation business (VATB) services in all Indonesia’s major cities. It expects significant growth this year as it launches new taxi units and other transportation services.
