Unilever appoints new media head for South Asia

MUMBAI - Unilever has promoted Atit Mehta to the role of head of media services for Unilever South Asia.

Mehta was previously country media manager for Unilever’s Indian subsidiary, Hindustan Unilever. He replaces Abhiroop Chuckurbutty, who takes on the role of category director. In his new role, Mehta will run Unilever’s media business with a set of agency partners across media planning, buying, digital and content for South Asia. He will report to Rahul Welde, Unilever’s vice president for media.

Mehta has previously worked as country media manager for Colgate Palmolive and business director for GroupM.
