Adidas confirms Sid Lee to replace Riot as digital lead

GLOBAL - Adidas has issued a statement confirming Sid Lee will replace 180 Amsterdam's interactive arm Riot as lead digital agency for the brand's Sport Performance division.

Adidas confirms Sid Lee to replace Riot as digital lead

The announcement follows Adidas' decision to move its global account from 180 Amsterdam to Sid Lee, after 12 years with the agency.

Sid Lee will take over the digital duties for Adidas' Sport Performance division as of January 2011. Riot has held the account for the past two years.

The decision follows Adidas' announced in March this year that it had awarded a significant communications assignment for 2011 to Sid Lee.

Sid Lee has been the lead agency in charge of Adidas Originals and the lead digital agency for the Sport Style division for the last three years.

According to a company statement, Adidas will continue to work closely with the TBWA network.
