DATA POINTS: Which Asian nation leads the world in Tumblr usage?
GlobalWebIndex, a global quarterly study of internet usage, has released data showing that the Philippines is the country with the highest percentage of active Tumblr users: The country is all alone in first place at eight per cent. Indonesia and Malaysia tie Brazil at five per cent. And Singapore, at four per cent, ties Canada, the US, Mexico and Saudi Arabia. Asia tops first global social engagement index, China, Indonesia and India lead
GLOBAL - China's high income (top 25 per cent) group in China lead the world in social engagement, followed by Indonesia and India, while the least socially active are 55 to 64- year-olds in Japan, according to GlobalWebIndex's Social Engagement Benchmark report.
