Following the launch of Campaign Asia-Pacific in September last year, readers can look forward to much more in the way of in-depth analysis, interviews and insight as the magazine goes into 2011.
Opening the year in terms of reports in will be the annual Agency Report Cards, which will provide a comprehensive assessment of creative and media agency performance in the region over the past twelve months, published in February.
This will be followed by a detailed report on the travel and leisure sector, which will look at the key growth areas, the explosion of online media within the industry, key consumer groups and their motivations, and the challenges of working on integrated resorts from a creative perspective.
Further sector reports to look out for in 2011 include consumer electronics, automotive marketing, financial marketing and luxury goods marketing.
Separately, the April issue will feature a report on Asia’s top digital brands, while the July issue will carry the annual Top 1000 Brands study.
In addition to the Campaign Asia-Pacific's annual line-up of industry events, starting with the Asian Marketing Effectiveness Festival in May, 2011 will also see the launch of Campaign's Spotlight Series - industry-specific conferences that are researched and designed especially for the brand community across Asia-Pacific.
Closely aligned with Campaign's sector reports in print, the six conferences will each focus on a different industry sector and address the biggest questions facing senior marketers from across the Asia-Pacific region.
Starting with Campaign Spotlight Healthcare in March, we explore how you can build lasting pharmaceutical brands and appropriately reach out to both clinicians and patients.
Campaign Spotlight Travel and Leisure follows in April, focusing on the revival of destination marketing in a recovering global economy, followed by Spotlights on Consumer Technology, Automotive, Finance and Retail later in the year, each looking at what challenges need to be resolved in 2011 and what opportunities exist in Asia’s dynamic marketplace.
The priorities of brands are often distinct from the rest of the industry, which is why Campaign has created this exclusive learning and networking environment. The format of the conferences is designed to maximise knowledge-exchange and peer-to-peer networking with a mix of plenary sessions, case studies and panel discussions.
