Naga DDB appoints Mitchell as COO, names GM for brand management

KUALA LUMPUR - Former Y&R Malaysia general manager, David Mitchell (pictured), has resurfaced as chief operating officer at Naga DDB as the agency also promoted Sarina Sham to general manager for brand management.

Mitchell will work alongside Sham to provide creative and strategic solutions for clients and their marketing campaigns. Mitchell brings over 17 years experience in the field, and will also oversee business and staff development.

Sham, who was formerly brand management business unit head, was also instrumental in driving the agency’s work for Digi.

“With brands becoming more generic, we have put in place communication strategies that are more engaging and relevant to our target audience. Having David and Sarina will enable us to consistently deliver top quality solutions. From orchestrating campaigns to facilitating conversations, making messages to nurturing consumer connections and delivering push to creating pull interactions, Naga is shifting into the new age of advertising,” said Rosie Hong, group executive director, Foetus International.
