Gucci awards China social media remit to We. Red Bridge. The agency’s remit will encompass social media creative strategy, content production and social account operations for Gucci’s fashion and beauty business in China, starting from July. We. Red Bridge has secured the Gucci account after a competitive pitch involving four agencies. The Shanghai-based independent will leverage its unique capabilities in consumer and marketing communications to strengthen the brand’s social media presence in China.
FCB Neo has appointed Manoj Pandey as its new national creative director. Based in Delhi, Pandey brings with him over 19 years of experience as a creative leader and writer. He was most recently executive creative director at Cheil India.
Havas Media and Havas Red have been appointed as the agencies of record for telecommunications brands Tangerine and More in Australia. The remit will include earned media, content production, partnerships, brand communications, social and digital, and sponsorship amplification. The account will be managed from Melbourne, with additional support from teams in Sydney and Brisbane.
TBWA has appointed Kimberlee Wells as chief executive officer of the Australia unit. This expands Wells' leadership across both the Sydney and Melbourne offices. She's led TBWA Melbourne for nearly a decade and was instrumental in client partnerships with NAB and Australian Defence Force Recruiting, among others. Wells steps into Paul Bradbury's shoes, who left the agency in July after almost 20 years at the business. Subsequently, Nick Garrett has been appointed as CEO of newly-formed Omnicom Oceania, Wells will helm Australia operations, and Catherine Harris will lead New Zealand – both report into Nick Garrett.
Wells will also continue in her global role as practice lead of Sustain by TBWA.
Grey India has announced two appointments to strengthen its creative bench. Both will work with chief creative officer Harsh Kapadia.
- Nikhil Guha joins Grey as executive creative director. Previously, he was ECD at Leo Burnett and returns to the agency where he began his career. With over 17 years of experience and Guha will be based in Delhi and has held creative leadership roles at McCann, Havas, Publicis and Contract.
- Mahima Kukreja joins as group creative director. With 14 years of experience across leading agencies, including DDB, Monks and Ogilvy, Kukreja has worked on the client-side with brands like Mondelez, Tata, and Amazon.
Omnicom Media Group Singapore has promoted Daisy Huang to head of strategy. Based in Singapore, OMG’s Asia Pacific hub, Huang will also provide strategic oversight across global, regional, and local businesses, partnering with Omnicom Group agencies to drive cross-functional integration and growth. Huang spent over a decade with OMD in Singapore and Australia. She was most recently the head of strategy at OMD Singapore.
OMD Australia has appointed Rob Frost as chief strategy officer, a newly created role at the Omnicom Media Group agency. Frost was most recently national head of strategy at EssenceMediacom. He spent over a decade in strategy roles across Sydney and New York at Mediacom. His career spans the UK, US and Australia, leading strategy for brands including Budweiser, Uber, Coca-Cola and Volkswagen.
Advertising measurement platform Happydemics has appointed Baptiste Graffin as VP of sales in APAC. Graffin is a media expert with over 12 years of experience in the industry. Before joining Happydemics, he worked at Mobkoi in Singapore and Unruly in Sydney.
Kotak Mahindra Group, one of India’s leading banking and financial services conglomerates, has awarded its media mandate to Dentsu X India. The account was won following a competitive multi-agency pitch and will be serviced from the agency’s Mumbai office. The scope includes delivering a unified, full-funnel approach, encompassing media strategy, planning, and execution across platforms.
Google has elevated Prep Palacios as its new country manager for the Philippines. She will oversee efforts to help businesses and organisations navigate developments in artificial intelligence and video commerce through platforms such as Google Search and YouTube.Palacios has more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector. She has spent the past eight years at Google as head of industries. Before that, she worked for over 12 years at Microsoft.
Elephant Design, an Indian independent design and brand consultancy, has expanded to the Asia Pacific and launched a new hub in Singapore. Swetha Iyer will become the growth director, APAC. Before joining Elephant Design, she worked for Why by Lonsdale in Singapore and Landor in India.
FCB Ulka, part of FCB India, has appointed Bhawana Choudhary as executive vice president. With over 17 years of experience in the advertising industry, Choudhary began her career in marketing and advertising in 2008 at Leo Burnett, and then moved to Ogilvy and Publicis. Before FCB, she served as senior vice president at Leo Burnett India.
Verve The Live Agency has appointed Michael Pring as global client & development director, a newly created leadership role designed to work towards international growth and deepen client partnerships across its expanding footprint in Europe, the US, and APAC. Pring will work across all markets, including Verve's operations in London, Dublin, Amsterdam and Singapore. He brings over 25 years of experience, including more than a decade at AMV BBDO in London.
Omnicom Media Group (OMG) Philippines has consolidated its four key pillars—creatives, socials, activations, and public relations and influencer marketing—under OMG Content Philippines. As part of this reorganisation, the public relations and influencer marketing functions, which previously operated under Fuse, will now be rebranded as Creo, a global influencer marketing capability introduced by Omnicom in April. Each pillar will be overseen by a dedicated leader: Agatha Sio will lead OMG Content's creatives; Jeremy Guinid will be OMG socials lead; Agnes Chuapoco will serve as the general manager for OMG activations; and Ayel Agbanlog will be the general manager for Creo. All leaders will report to Mary Buenaventura, the president and CEO of OMG Philippines.
Wisnu Satya Putra and Wira Gumay have launched Feel Good Network, serving as CEO and COO of the new agency, respectively. Before launching Feel Good Network to deliver creative business solutions that go beyond campaigns, Putra was most recently CEO of Dentsu Creative Indonesia, and Gumay held the role of general manager. Prior to Dentsu, both worked at TBWA. Dentsu Creative Indonesia unveiled its new leadership team last week.
Joe Zhou has joined Edelman's parent DJE Holdings as Go Global practice lead, senior vice president at Zeno Group and Edelman China, based in Guangzhou, China. He was most recently senior vice president at rival Weber Shandwick in Shenzhen for over five years. He first joined Weber Shandwick as an account director in 2020 and spent over five years building his PR and communications career at the agency. He announced the move via LinkedIn.
News Corp Australia has appointed Marie Joyce as general manager of its content marketing agency, Suddenly, overseeing growth and strategic direction. Based in Melbourne, she will lead content solutions for clients, including Westpac Banking and Youi Insurance.
