MEDIA-I: China Times in online alliance with OgilvyOne

TAIPEI: Ogilvy & Mather Taiwan has partnered with ChinaTimes.com,

the internet flagship of China Times Group, to develop and integrate the

company's interactive marketing business.



OgilvyOne will provide consulting services in customer relationship

management, database marketing management, Teledirect marketing system

solutions and professional direct marketing training to the staff of

ChinaTimes.com.



The content site will initially support OgilvyOne's Teledirect business,

and will be extended to other business areas. The agreement expands

telemarketing opportunities for Ogilvy & Mather and OgilvyOne.



"It's the first strategic alliance for O&M in Taiwan," O&M Greater China

chairman, T.B. Song, said. "The goal of this co-operation is to develop

the largest telemarketing and database-marketing centre by combining and

sharing resources held by ChinaTimes.com and Ogilvy. We are also looking

at the Greater China telemarketing market in the future."



ChinaTimes.com's chief executive officer and chairman, Cheng Chia Chung,

added: "In fact, we have fulfilment experience in news and advertisement

services, event and PR activities, telemarketing, direct marketing and

distribution fields, after 50 years of operation."
