McCann Worldgroup Thailand, Creative Juice Bangkok win big at BAD

BANGKOK – McCann Worldgroup Thailand has picked up the most number of awards while Creative Juice has swept the most number of Bests at the Bangkok Art Directors (BAD) Awards.

McCann swept the awards at the recent BAD, picking up the most number of awards with 7 Bests and 21 Certificates of Excellence, the equivalent of Golds and Silvers respectively. McCann also picked up the Best in the Positive Change category, the equivalent of a Titanium award, for its One Email One Tree campaign for LG.

Creative Juice Bangkok picked up a total of 13 Bests and 12 Certificates, winning big for its campaigns for Cushion Wrap and Tamiy, while O&M picked up awards for Karana Travelgear, Naturegift, Lock & Lock and K Bank Assurance. McCann's work for LG Corporate, Amazing Thailand and Nikon s8100 raked in its awards, while Monday picked up the accolades with its campaign for Mini Hearing Aid.

In the special awards section, Leo Burnett and Arc Worldwide Thailand received an award in the Positive Commercial category for Tourism Authority of Thailand. Best in Show Graphic Design was awarded to Creative Juice Bangkok for its Tamiya Business Card for Tamiya Model Kits shop.

JEH United, with its 'Sorry Thailand' campaign for The Positive Network, scooped the Best in Show Interactive & Digital Media, as well as the Best in Show Poster, Outdoor, Ambience Media and New Media category for its Fizzy Billboard for Chang Soda.

Best in Show Press Advertising was awarded to Monday for its 'Duck/ Man/ Dog' campaign for Mini Hearing Aid. No award was given for the Best In Show in Radio.

No awards were given in the categories of Campaigns for Public & Charity Poster, Single and Campaign for Promotion Press/ Magazine, Single, Campaign for Small Space, Campaign for Promotion TVC, Best Animation,  Annual Report, Book & Jacket Design, and Publication or Magazine Design.

BAD Awards is in its 27th year and regarded as Thailand’s premier creative awards show.
