Creative talent search reality show HP Space beat out competition from around the world to take home ‘Best Brand Generated Format’ in the Format Awards organised by FRAPA and C21. HP Space garnered 36 per cent of the votes online at http://c21screenings.net/formatawards.
Aired on Fox International Channels Star World and Channel [V] across China, India and Southeast Asia, HP Space was created and produced by David Searl and Sham Baharom for HP Personal Computers Asia-Pacific.
Since leaving Star TV, Searl has relaunched Ice-TV as an Asian based company specialising in branded entertainment. Ice-TV entered HP Space into the awards with Star TV's backing.

The 'Best Brand Generated Format' Award, a new category for this year, saw entries shortlisted to a top three which included Family cook off from Zodiak Rights, No leave no life from Southern Star International and, ultimate victor, HP Space from Singapore's Ice TV.
