Hall & Partners acquires Jigsaw

SHANGHAI - Hall & Partners, a specialist brand and communications research consultancy within the Diversified Agency Services (DAS) division of Omnicom, has acquired a majority stake in Jigsaw International, a boutique lifestyle qualitative research agency based in Shanghai.

Founded in 1999, Jigsaw International specialises in youth research. The acquisition is part of Hall & Partners’ strategy to expand its global reach beyond the US and UK.

“We share a similar culture and vision for growth that Hall & Partners wants in Asia, especially in China, and we are a young team who are passionate about branding and communications, particularly in consumer insight activation. We are also keen to expand to other parts of the world, so it’s a natural ‘marriage’,” said Kim Beck (pictured), CEO of Jigsaw China.

Both parties will have meetings in February to finalise their client portfolios.
