DDB Group Singapore has appointed Josiah Ng from Tribal Worldwide Singapore as head of Telling Stories, its newly announced film and content division.

Telling Stories, which also includes Benjamin Lee, creative director of social media, creates content ranging from six-second clips to long-form videos. The team has a team of 16 script writers, editors, 3D animators, producers and directors of photography. Bettina Feng, the agency’s head of broadcast, leads the team.

“Telling Stories transforms the way we work with agile, creative and exciting film production, Ng said in a release. "It provides multiple creative formats through an agile framework.”

Ng previously worked at Lin Pictures Hollywood, the company that produced The Lego Movie, Sherlock Holmes, and Stephen King’s It.

The company also appointed Natasha Ann Zachariah, who previously led The Straits Times Life’s Design section, as senior writer at Telling Stories.
