Campaign Asia-Pacific announces editorial promotions

HONG KONG - Campaign Asia-Pacific has announced a series of promotions among its editorial staff, further strengthening its capabilities across the region.

David Blecken has been promoted from Insights editor to the role of deputy editor. Based in Hong Kong, he will oversee all content in the print magazine and work closely with Matthew Miller, online editor, in managing the editorial team to ensure all content is delivered across platforms. 

Emily Tan has been promoted from reporter to Insights editor. She will take over Blecken's previous responsibility for managing the Insights section in Campaign Asia-Pacific. This role involves developing story ideas, commissioning articles and editing copy. Based in Hong Kong, Tan will continue to write news for the website and email bulletins, and will remain focused on digital-related content.

Susie Sell, who joined Campaign Asia-Pacific a year ago as senior reporter in Singapore, has been promoted to features editor. She will be charged with developing features and specials, such as the Asia’s Top 1000 Brands report. Sell replaces Jolene Otremba, the magazine’s former reports editor, who is taking a year off to spend time with her new baby. 

Benjamin Li has been promoted to senior reporter, from his prior position as reporter. Based in Hong Kong, Li will continue to work across both print and online, with a focus on breaking news in the Greater China market.
