The new office is already in full operation.

According to a company press statement, China has attracted several dedicated B2B communication agencies as more B2B companies realise the importance of communication.

"We strongly believe that we cannot afford to miss the opportunity in China, our clients also share a similar view and hope we can serve them globally to achieve consistency," said Katherine Darlington, global president of The Scott Partnership.

She adds the company's sales actually doubled during the GFC which ensured the company's financial committment in China.

Jacky Cheng is leading the new office as managing director of The Scott Partnership China.

“My past experience tells me that if you want to be a successful communication consulting agency in China, you would need to regard your clients as your business partners and grow with them, maintain flexibility when you deal with different requests and challenges. That’s the way to work in B2B sectors,” said Cheng.

The Scott Partnership was founded in 1996 in the UK., specialising in industries including life science, healthcare, chemical and materials, security, packaging, automation and analytical instruments. The company also has an office in Boston, US.
