Southeast Asian platform TheAsianparent today announced that Susana Tsui has joined as CEO of media.

Tsui was mostly recently China CEO at Dentsu Aegis Network, a position she left in March less than a year after arriving from PHD, where she had been APAC CEO since 2013. In her new role, Tsui will be responsible for TheAsianparent's content, community and media platforms.

"It is a very interesting and exciting time in our industry, and I’m thrilled to be a part of this exhilarating journey as theAsianparent continues to grow in strength, expand into new markets, and evolve its product to reach new milestones in the years to come," Tsui said in a statement.

TheAsianparent has more than 25 million monthly active users, and recently received eight-figure series C funding from investors including Fosun and JD.com.

Roshni Mahtani, TheAsianparent founder and group CEO, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Susana to theAsianparent family, who brings with her strong leadership skills and expertise in transformational growth."
