Ronald Ng replaces Searle as BBDO Proximity Singapore CCO

SINGAPORE – BBDO Proximity Singapore has appointed Ronald Ng as CCO, with current CCO Danny Searle taking on the role of vice-chairman for BBDO Asia.

Ng moves from BBDO New York, where he was an EVP and executive creative director. He brings almost 20 years of advertising experience, the last eight of which have been with BBDO.  

Searle will remain as chairman of BBDO Proximity Singapore, but will take on the additional role of vice-chairman of BBDO Asia.

Jean-Paul Burge, CEO of BBDO Proximity Singapore and president Southeast Asia, said the appointment signifies the growing importance of Singapore and the wider region.

He said, “Ronald was our first choice from the start; someone who brings with him not only bags of experience, but also enormous creative muscle and the rare ability to manage a large creative department.”
