Eight regional leaders announced in addition to Justin Peyton.

Wunderman Thompson unveils APAC leadership

Wunderman Thompson has revealed its completed leadership team across Asia-Pacific, reporting to regional CEO Annette Male.

In addition to Justin Peyton joining as APAC chief strategy and transformation officer, SheungYan "Mayan" Lo has been named APAC chief creative officer. He has been executive creative director of J Walter Thompson Northeast Asia since 2001, and will continue as chairman of Wunderman Thompson’s APAC creative council.

Krishnan Menon has been appointed APAC chief client and growth officer. Menon has been with WPP for 22 years, most recently as APAC COO of Wunderman. Lindsay Shirley has joined as APAC chief talent officer, arriving from digital marketing firm Acceleration in South Africa, where she was global operations and talent director.

Mark Miller, previously APAC head of planning at Wunderman, has been named APAC head of customer experience for Wunderman Thompson, while Thomas Brauch is APAC head of data and analytics. Brauch was previously Wunderman APAC head of analytics.

Former executive creative director and APAC head of Possible, James Bay, is now managing partner, commerce, for greater China, based in Shanghai. Jakarta-based Ashley Amanna is Southeast Asia ecommerce lead, having previously been general manager of Wunderman Indonesia.

Finally, John Rees has been appointed APAC CFO, having held the same position for Wunderman for the past two years.

Of all the appointments, Male said: “This new team brings together a unique breadth of capabilities that align with our commitment to help drive growth for our clients, people and partners. I'm truly excited to be working with the best in our business to build this new kind of agency that clients are asking for, and that the market is demanding."
