As director, digital marketing, Bernas will drive and execute digital marketing channel strategies for web and SEO, email, search and display and social media. According to an update on LinkedIn, Bernas will work with marketing teams in Australia, Japan, North Asia and Southeast Asia.

Last month, Campaign Asia-Pacific confirmed Bernas’ exit at SingTel after three years at the telco company.

Bernas has consistently talked about the use of social media to create strong connections with consumers. He has previously held senior marketer roles at Wego.com, Nokia, Yahoo, Virgin Mobile, CNBC and MTV Networks Asia.
