Waggener Edstrom opens its first office in India

MUMBAI - Waggener Edstrom (WE) has confirmed opening its first office in Mumbai, India and its 17th globally, coinciding with the agency's 27th anniversary this week.

Madhuri Sen will take charge as managing director and vice-president. 

WE India will focus on the technology, banking, financial services and insurance, and healthcare sectors. 

“As one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, India has been a natural focus for us as we continue our global expansion plans,” said Claire Lematta, president of global regions at WE.

“India offers a wealth of opportunity for the agency through its vibrant culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, and we’re excited to open the doors of our first office in India,” she added.
