Robbins, founding member and digital director of Iris Digital, left the agency earlier this month, taking three other Iris members with him. Together with Brendan Millar, Joei Huang and Teo Yu Lun, he will launch new digital and interactive marketing agency Flok at the start of September.

Flok aims to bridge the gap between interactive agencies, software developers and digital marketing consultants. Services include site development, media assets, community management, CRM and social CRM, digital and integration strategy and analytics.

Millar steps in as project director overseeing project management and solution architecture, Huang will act as technology director overseeing technical solutions and technology innovation, and Teo completes the team as the developer responsible for digital coding among other things.

Founder and managing director Robbins commented, “The time is right for us to step out as a team and create a new breed of digital shop. The board members, strategic partners and clients are yet to be disclosed."

“Over the last 2 years I’ve built up a strong team, produced some great campaigns and created a very profitable business. Deciding to leave has been the hardest decision of my career so far,” Robbins said, referring to his time at Iris. “I’ve had an excellent experience at Iris and I leave the agency inspired and enthusiastic and look to the future at Flok.”
