Wong takes on CD role at TBWA Indon

TCP-TBWA\Indonesia has named Ronald Wong as its new creative director. Wong joins from a similar role at 141 Vietnam.

According to TCP-TBWA director Steve Dodds, Wong's arrival will bring greater heft to the agency's creative output. "It's important that Indonesia begins forging a bigger creative presence in the region," said Dodds.

The Malaysian-born Wong has worked at several agencies in both Malaysia and Singapore during his 15-year advertising career.

Dodds notes that Wong's arrival demonstrates TBWA's improving image in the market, as the kind of recruit "who perhaps wouldn't have considered working with TBWA in Indonesia a few years ago.

"Besides servicing a growing roster of network clients, we've managed to add a couple of the Roche ethical brands, plus VK Mobile".
