For fifteen years MediaWorks has prepared media buyers and planners in understanding and responding to real client briefs under real time pressure. In 2021 Campaign Asia will exchange hotel rooms for office boardrooms. Over the course of four days delegates will be categorised into virtual teams with people of different areas of expertise, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences, and tasked with delivering a presentation on a real client brief.
Team members will be guided by media-expert mentors from around Asia-Pacific, some of whom are MediaWorks graduates themselves, who will also imbue them with the skills required to get ahead in an increasingly uncertain industry. Lessons in strategy, insight, ideation and presentations will help delegates understand precisely how to get ahead in client work, and leadership training given by agency chief executives will prepare them for the next phases in their careers.
