Cha-Ching Band Manager, available for iOS and Android in English, is a key initiative of the Prudence Foundation, the charitable platform of Prudential Corporation Asia.

The new app is part of the Cha-Ching Money Smart Kids initiative, which the company launched in 2011 to address one of the key takeaways from the global financial crisis: consumers’ need for stronger financial literacy. The series uses animation and music to deliver financial education to children across Asia.

“Cha-Ching Band Manager, along with our other digital games, leverages the concept that children learn through play and gives them a fun and engaging way to practise making money-smart decisions,” said Sean Rach, regional director of brand and corporate affairs at Prudential Corporation Asia.

The initiative includes Cha-Ching, a TV programme that launched in 2011 and currently airs in seven Asian countries on Cartoon Network, as well as the Cha-Ching Saver game series, an online game. Another online game, Cha-Ching Saver World Tour, was launched together with season two of the TV show in October 2012.
