SINGAPORE: ESPN Star Sports has launched the Singapore outdoor
advertising component of its regional multimedia campaign to promote its
coverage of the English Premier League.
The campaign on Singapore's Mass Rapid Transit trains features a number
of executions, with taglines such as "No weekend is complete without a
bit of confrontation", "Passion. Like you've never experienced before"
and "Try telling him it's only a game".
Premier League players appear on visuals to bring the message across to
a significant percentage of the local population, who take an estimated
one million commuter trips onboard the MRT daily.
The outdoor push supports ESS' print, radio spots, online and
on-the-ground promotions of the Premier League. ESS is also running
multimedia Premier League campaigns in Thailand, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
