The briefPetronas wanted to send its employees from Labuan Island, and their families, on a
weekend incentive to the Empire Hotel and Country Club in Brunei. Petronas provides this incentive once a year.
ChallengesLabuan Island is one hour away from Brunei by ferry, so getting the group transported was the first priority. The group was mainly Muslim so food preparation was done carefully. Children also needed to be catered to.
ExecutionUpon arrival, the group was met by staff from Bon Asia. That evening the group visited Jerudong Park Garden to watch the Musical Fountain show. The next day, the Petronas staff took part in a full day of meetings while family members enjoyed a day of outdoor activities and spa treatments.The groups then rejoined for a seafood dinner at Portview Restaurant and then wenton a visit to Gadong Night Market. The next day the entire group did the city tour of Brunei Darussalam. This included a visit to the Brunei National Museum, the Royal Regalia Exhibition, a buffet lunch at the Season Restaurant and photos taken next
to Istana Nurul Iman. On the final morning the group checked out early and returned to Labuang.
