Pepsi overhauls Australian website

AUSTRALIA - Pepsi has revamped its Australian web offering with a new website that promotes its three branded products and hosts a contest offering winners their own bachelor pad.

The site, http://brandsite.pepsi.amnesia.com.au/, uses 3D features and showcases Pepsi, Pepsi Light and Pepsi Max products and promotions, but developers at Amnesia say the space will grow to include more video, music and networking applications later in the year.

Pepsi will strengthen its mobile platform in tandem with the site’s development, said Terry Carney, co-managing director of Amnesia.

Among the promotions displayed on the site is the Pepsi Max ‘Your Bachelor Pad to the Max’ contest, which gives visitors the chance to win AU$600,000 (US$559,441) to use toward buying an apartment or house.

According to Carney, the campaign targets 27-year-old Pepsi Max male drinkers looking to create their ultimate bachelor pad, while a recent Pepsi Light ‘OMG’ campaign targeted women looking to share their biggest ‘oh my God’ moments.
