The company currently has more than 135 staff across existing offices in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines. Its network includes more than 10,000 sites, which generate 50 million unique visitors and 2 billion ad impressions per month. The company launched a video network in February.

Teoh, general manager of Innity China, has more than 10 years' experience in digital advertising and branding. Huang (pictured), who takes up the role of regional sales director, will report to Teoh. Prior to Innity, she was the regional business director at Hong Kong-based FiveStones, which represents Google Doubleclick for Advertisers. She was in charge of business development, including account management, creative development and operations. Prior to that, she was regional sales manager with Singapore Press Holdings' internet business unit, AsiaOne.

The company will be recruiting employees to fill the Hong Kong and Shanghai offices and aims to educate the new markets about Innity's CPE (cost per engagement) model, under which advertisers pay not for impressions but for user-initiated interaction with ad units.

"The China and Hong Kong digital markets are still new to the engagement model, and with Christine joining us, we can enlighten and open up the markets, expanding our reach quickly," Teoh said in a statement. "The potential of brand advertising is huge, and we are confident that our innovative engagement solutions can provide great value to publishers and advertisers in both China and Hong Kong."

Innity cited a campaign for pharmaceutical giant Wyeth as its inaugural activity in greater China.
