MediaCorp rejigs marketing teams

SINGAPORE - MediaCorp has reorganised its marketing teams with effect from 1 April to form a fully converged marketing and sales planning function.

With the new arrangement, its current TV marketing and business planning, integrated marketing and TV12 marketing teams will be consolidated.

Edwin Koh, senior vice-president, head, airtime sales and marketing will lead this unit in spearheading strategic marketing solutions for clients.

His portfolio will include marketing communications, partnership development, segment marketing, pricing management, marketing research, sales analysis and product network management.

He said: “MediaCorp has realigned the marketing cluster to fully leverage its ability to deliver innovative integrated solutions based on its full suite of media platforms. By integrating the marketing teams across television, print, online and radio, MediaCorp will be able to offer clients more comprehensive and innovative integrated solutions to meet their advertising needs.  No redundancies were made through this realignment. On the contrary, this move has created a driving force to propel MediaCorp’s business ahead in this competitive advertising market.”
