The Institute of Advertising in Singapore has teamed up with the

local 4As to improve the quality of its Singapore Advertising Hall of

Fame Awards, which will go from six to 10 categories for the November

event.

The partners are looking at ways to bolster local support and make this

jointly-organised event more substantial, before attempting to transform

its other award ventures into regional or international events.

The new categories are pro bono campaign of the year, youth market

campaign of the year, cable TV campaign of the year and a relationship

marketing award.

President of the 4As, Bernard Chan, said the partners plan to put

together a joint bid for the Asian Advertising Congress, Asia's largest

trade show for the advertising and marketing communications industries.
