Dentsu US and Dentsu Europe, which have acted as hubs for their
respective regions, are to undergo structural changes which will affect
the agency's international business administration.
According to a statement issued by the company, the changes taking place
are the result of a "careful review of the functions presently performed
by the regional hubs and is designed to strengthen Dentsu's business
structure ... by building an organisational structure more suited to
different lines of business".
At Dentsu's international business headquarters New York, an office of
coordination and management for the Americas and Europe is to be set up,
which is to be responsible for collecting information, offering
supervision and coordination as well as developing strategies for
regional activities.
The office is to be headquartered in New York, with branches set to be
established in London, Paris and Dusseldorf.
In addition, Dentsu is to form new companies in the US and Europe to
pursue marketing assistance and new business search.
Dentsu Holdings USA and Dentsu Holdings Europe will be dedicated to
offering business management assistance to group affiliates in their
respective regions.
