Carlsberg searches for happiness in campaign

SHANGHAI - Carlsberg Chill has launched an outdoor interactive campaign in Shanghai's bus shelters to record the happiness levels of citizens.

The ‘Stand up for fun’ campaign involves 10 ‘fun index’ bus shelters set up with ‘happy’ and ‘not happy’ digital panels on either side. The panel detects pressure and registers the number of touches.

On 28 May, Carlsberg will collect the data from each bus stop and announce the happiest spot within the city of Shanghai. The statistics will also be compared to ‘fun index’ shelters in other parts of China. 

The Carlsberg in-house marketing team is responsible for the concept and the outdoor media is hosted by Guangdong White Horse Outdoor Advertising.
