Celia Chong Wu is regional general manager at MSN - Asia Microsoft Corporation, since November 2000.
She reports to Yusuf Mehdi, head of MSN business division worldwide, and is responsible for the strategy, business operations and partnerships of the division in Asia. She also manages regional strategic relationships with media companies and internet content providers across the Asia-Pacific region.

We have about 57 employees across the region.
Marketing responsibilities?
I am the regional director of sales covering Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and Korea at MSN. In addition, MSN also offers Hotmail and Messenger in Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Who's the competition for MSN in Asia?
Yahoo is our major competitor on a regional basis and within each country there are strong local portals providing competition in each market.
How do you get a job there?
I met my current boss at an industry event a few years ago.

The hours are long as people often wear many hats, which is becoming increasingly common in today's increasingly hectic and busy work environment.

I spend about 60 per cent of the time on the road.
I travel the region and to Microsoft corporate offices in Redmond Washington.
