Campaign Asia-Pacific welcomes two new reporters

HONG KONG - Bolstering its ability to deliver insight into the region's marketing industry, Campaign Asia-Pacific has added two additional Singapore-based reporters, Byravee Iyer and Sophie Chen, to its editorial team.

Byravee Iyer came on board July 9 as Reporter. She was most recently a writer at Mint, the business daily of the Hindustan Times and The Wall Street Journal in India. Based in Bangalore, her beats included fast-moving consumer goods and retail. Prior to Mint, she worked with Bloomberg UTV, a business channel where she reported for and produced a show called Logo that covered marketing and advertising trends. Byravee also spent more than two years at Business Standard, where she wrote for the paper's marketing and strategy supplement, The Strategist. She has recently relocated to Singapore.

Starting today, Sophie Chen joins the staff as Reporter. Sophie most recently worked as an assistant editor for two bilingual, high-end lifestyle magazines at Ink Publishing for the Hong Kong, Macau and China markets. She is originally from China but has lived in Singapore for a few years. Prior to Ink, she worked as a business journalist at Shanghai Business Review magazine in Shanghai.

These new additions will improve our team’s ability to deliver more insight into the marketing and advertising industry across the entire region.
