Siew joined OMD in 2003 as planning manager, with double promotions in 2004 and 2008 to the positions of associate media director and business director respectively.

Commenting on the promotion, Vogiatzakis said, “It requires a certain personality type to be a
media planner – someone who looks at a campaign in totality and is yet able to tap onto the
right target audience and communicate that to clients well. Wey Tyng is a shining star and has
built a solid reputation for herself as a stellar performer, doing consistently well in her areas of
work. I am very pleased to activate this well-deserved promotion and have no doubt that she
will continue to shine in her role.”

She majored in statistics at the University of Malaya before joining the media advertising industry in 1993 as a media executive, working within the research division.

Siew's diverse client portfolio spans across various industries and brands such as
Panasonic Malaysia, Visa Worldwide, SCA Hygiene Marketing, among others.
