ASIA-PACIFIC - As Asia's advertising industry booms, the older, more sophisticated markets must face up to the challenges laid down by countries on the rise.

POLL: Which city will be Asia-Pacific's top advertising hub by 2020?
Traditionally, Hong Kong and Singapore have battled it out for recognition as the advertising capital of Asia-Pacific. But with the rise of China and India - not to mention the emerging markets of Southeast Asia - will this two-way fight quickly come to resemble a playground scuffle as the real competitors enter the boxing ring?

While the Singapore Government continues to entice media agencies with start-up funding (and Hong Kong follows suit, albeit with a much smaller pot), the reality is that advertising will always go where the big marketing budgets are - and that’s less easy to predict. So what do you think?
