Lee (pictured) brings a wealth of experience in advising companies and multinationals in financial communication. At Citigate, Lee devised public relations strategies for a wide range of Chinese companies' overseas initial public offerings.

Her previous clients included Bank of Communications, China Pacific Insurance, Baosteel and China Life, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.

Prior to Citigate, Lee was the financial editor at Television Broadcasts Limited, where she oversaw a team of 20 reporters and managed the financial newscast production. She also covered the banking and capital markets as a reporter for the Hong Kong Economic Journal.

"With Hong Kong as a key international finance center and Shanghai as the financial hub of China, there is a need to help Chinese clients with financial communication within these two cities, particularly as they continue to seek global growth," Lee said. "I look forward to working with APCO's global financial communications team."

Joining APCO alongside Lee is Sukyi Yau, who lead APCO's financial communication practice in Asia last summer and is a principal in the firm's global practice.
