Publicis will develop the strategy and the campaign in working with Mandalay to create a truly holistic approach to communications.

The news of Publicis' win comes at an opportune time with Nestlé posting a US$5.15 billion half-year profit, reporting a 7.5 per cent increase and raising its full-year outlook as global sales increase despite adverse currency exchange rates.

Nestlé said that the biggest growth came from emerging markets, the sale of its low-cost alternatives and a strong performance by its premium brands. In contrast, developed markets showed some weaknesses, with lower demand for frozen food in North America and Europe.

Commenting on this win, Publicis CEO, Mark Ingrouille said, "It's wonderful to be able to expand our relationship with Nestlé and an exciting challenge which we look forward to with relish.”
