Chiang replaces Payne as regional head of PHD

SINGAPORE - Omnicom Media Group's second agency brand PHD has unveiled Cheuk Chiang, the managing director of Melbourne agency CumminsNitro, as its new regional head.

Chiang replaces Payne as regional head of PHD

Chiang will replace Paul Payne in September, and joins with a brief to build on the foundation built by Payne and push PHD’s pioneering positioning.

He will report to Omnicom Media Group Asia-Pacific CEO Barry Cupples (pictured), who said: Chiang comes with a strong reputation in building business, understands the Asia-Pacific market and is incredibly driven. He also has a rare mix of operational skill and talent as a creative strategist that suits this role.

Chiang has managed brands such as Coca-Cola, Heinz, Kraft, Mars and Motorola over a 17-year career, most notably Asia Pacific Breweries’ beer portfolio during his time at Leo Burnett Singapore where he was regional account director.

Cheuk commented: In Europe and North America, PHD is famous for its pioneering work for clients. Our priority is to establish that reputation here.
