Energy drink proposes an end to procrastination

Work by Clemenger BBDO Sydney envisions a wandering mind lost in a world of distractions.

V Energy has launched a new brand platform in Australia and New Zealand, developed by Clemenger BBDO Sydney. The energy-drink brand proposes that it can help people escape 'The procrastination place'.

"Gen Z and younger millennials (18-25) have big goals, but are living in the most distracting time in history," the brand says. "This is where a little guarana-powered liquid motivation comes in."

The 'Make it happen' platform launched this weekend. It includes TV, cinema, digital, social and OOH. The launch film, above, is directed by Ad Nut favourite Damien Shatford from Sweetshop.

Fun stuff.

Yet in Ad Nut's experience, energy drinks don't really help with procrastination; they merely make Ad Nut procrastinate more energetically—jumping frantically from one useless and unproductive activity to another.
