Wunderman Thompson announced its senior leadership lineup for Greater China, and it does not include Bryce Whitwam, who will be stepping down after 10 years with Wunderman China, most recently as Greater China CEO. Carter Chow (previously CEO at JWT China) has been named chief executive officer of Wunderman Thompson China.

Evan Teng (previously MD of JWT Taiwan) will serve as managing director of Wunderman Thompson Taiwan, with Jill Chang (previously MD of Wunderman Taiwan) as managing partner.

Matthew Parry (previously MD at JWT Hong Kong) will be managing director of Wunderman Thompson Hong Kong, with Maggie Tong (previously MD of Wunderman Hong Kong) as managing partner.

The China business will be headed up by Shanghai-based Chow, who joined the network from McCann in late 2016. No other senior executives were let go in Taiwan or Hong Kong, according to the company.

Annette Male, Wunderman Thompson APAC CEO, commented in a release, "We truly thank Bryce for his contribution to our business in Greater China, and we wish him the very best for his future ventures."

She added that bringing together these leadership teams is a great example of how the new agency is combining creativity, data and technology talents.
