The appointment follows a comprehensive three-way pitch, which also included Publicis JimenezBasic and Ogilvy Vietnam, called earlier this year.

“From a strategic point of view, we liked the way Lowe framed the target market for the brand on a country-specific and regional level,” Jan Evangelista, vice-president at PCMC, commented.

“Lowe has a lot of experience handling brands on a regional scale. We are confident, moving forward, that we have found a really strong partner as we ramp up our ambitions across the region.”

Lowe Philippines is tasked to handle ph Care’s thematic requirements in Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Singapore, leveraging its network across the region.

It is understood that Lowe Philippines has been handling the creative duties of other products under Unilab PCMC in the local market. This business win marks the agency’s first regional push for the brand.

“We are delighted to be able to expand our relationship with Unilab PCMC with additional brand and geographical reach,” Mike Trillana, vice-president of business operations at Lowe Philippines, said. “We are very much looking forward to partnering with them for this work, and being part of their success.”
