SPIKES: Hawker Night party at Lau Pa Sat

SINGAPORE - Delegates at Spikes Asia were treated to a night out at one of Singapore's most iconic hawker centers, Lau Pa Sat, which is located at the heart of the Lion City's central business district.

Hosted by McCann Worldgroup, the food centre was transformed from its usual food and beverage setting into a lively party and networking venue.

Mark Ingrouille, region director of Southeast Asia for McCann Worldgroup, took the stage and kicked off the entertainment with his best impersonation of soul legend James Brown. He belted out “I feel good" as agency and marketing executives milled around to enjoy their food and beer.

The rest of the night saw a live performance by electronic groove and percussion group Science Feels Great, featuring Brandon Lee from McCann Erickson Singapore, plus a DJ set from Thierry Halbroth of McCann’s Hong Kong office.
