SLG has retained Grayling for PR for the event, and has also launched a Tequila-created TV and print campaign around the tagline 'Crazy about golf?' According to SLG marketing director Maurice Williams, the creative looks to build on the connection between business and golf in Asia, with two TVCs demonstrating situations where people take their love of the sport a little too far.
Grayling has been tasked to communicate the event's link to the Forbes Global CEO Conference, which will take place alongside the tournament for three years, beginning in 2006. SLG com- munications director Corinna Cox said: "We are using (PR) to position Sentosa and Singapore as a unique business and conference destination, and also to showcase Sentosa's potential to visitors and high net-worth individuals."
