Red Bricks Media rebrands as RBM

GLOBAL – Digital marketing agency Red Bricks Media today announced that it will be rebranded as RBM with a new logo to reflect its service offering.

Under the new brand, the agency retains its signature red colour but adopts a simplistic visual identity.

Elliott Easterling, chairman and co-founder of RBM, said the new logo seeks to communicate the agency's new philosophy in approaching the dynamic media landscape – one that does not put paid digital media at its core.

"This new identity mirrors our evolution from a search engine optimisation firm to what today is a global full-service advertising shop that, in addition to search specialisation, offers clients creative services, digital strategy, web development, social media and mobile communications," he said. "Media remains an important focus in what we do but does not represent all that we offer."

In addition to the visual elements, RBM introduces new theme "There be dragons", a phrase used to denote dangerous or unexplored territories on historical maps. The agency said its new tagline underscores its belief in the importance of leading clients into the uncharted areas of digital.

Founded in 2004 as Red Bricks Media, the agency began as a search engine optimisation firm. Over the next few years, the start-up continued to grow, winning respect and business from clients like Hearst Corporation, Pacific Life Insurance and Seagate. By the end of 2006, it had morphed into a digital marketing agency and in 2009 was named to Inc. Magazine's annual Inc. 500 listing.
