NEW DELHI Nissan Motor has handed Percept Profile its Nissan global light commercial vehicles (LCV) PR account following a multi-agency pitch.
The mandate for the Indian PR agency, signed on a one-year retainer basis, covers the Japan, Europe (Italy, France, Spain and the UK), China and Mexico markets.
The PR agency has been asked to enhance corporate reputation and effectively communicate brand visibility in relevant markets. This includes assisting the company in creating the right content for producing corporate films, corporate and product brochures, creation of fact files and helping Nissan LCV be a part of global iconic events.
Rahat Beri, chief operating officer, Percept Profile said: "The driving force behind the whole pitch was the mix of integrated and innovative media approach — internet, OOH, events and communication, etc. This was our USP for grabbing such a prestigious account in a very competitive global market place.
"The focus will remain on creating effective communication to position Nissan LCV as one of the most dynamic BU of Nissan Motor. The scope of work extends to strategising and creating a global communication code for Nissan's LCV business, both externally and internally in all the countries in which it has a presence."
Percept will tap its international alliance partners and offices in the Gulf for strategy.
