Nutritek appoints Universal McCann ahead of regional expansion

KUALA LUMPUR - Nutritek Overseas, Russia's third-largest dairy producer, has handed its regional corporate and product branding brief to Universal McCann Malaysia after a credentials pitch.

The IPG agency has been tasked to launch the Nugrow milk brand, which includes Nugrow 123 and Nugrow 456 products for young children. Nutritek also has plans to launch these brands in Indonesia, Vietnam and China over the next two years.

“Universal McCann proved that it could be our partner as we expand regionally. The agency was selected on the basis of its out-of-box thinking and track record in innovative media buying,” Phyllis Chan, MD of Digilot, Nutritek's roster marketing and brand consultancy.

Chan revealed that the brief to Universal McCann involves digital and on-ground initiatives as well developing branded content.

The media agency won the account after a credentials search that involved several top media agencies in Malaysia.

“We have a track record of genuinely breakthrough work and a remarkable consistency in building businesses for our clients through great integrated connection planning and a sharp eye on the marketing ROI. I am glad more and more new businesses now come to us on the basis of this trust,” said Prashant Kumar, CEO of Universal McCann, Malaysia.
