Pan-Asian professionals services firm Mercatela has won a two-year
contract to provide creative strategy and design, localisation services
and technology implementation services for British Airways' Asia
websites.
Mercatela will integrate BA's online and offline strategies to offer a
consistent user experience for the airline's sites across Asia.
Mercatela partner and executive creative director, Thierry Halbroth,
said the company would abide by BA's exacting standards regarding the
airline's branding and image. "We are going to ensure that we coordinate
closely with offline promotions and branding. Obviously it is very
important for us to stay in line with the British Airways brand when we
localise their websites for Asia."
Mercatela will create the sites according to template designs provided
by BA, and will begin rolling out the sites in three to four months.
