AdSociety has helped create an e-book advertisement for Creative

Technology's E-Book Systems' FlipTimes, a monthly internet newsletter,

which is emailed to readers in a book format, with flipping pages,

streamed content and ads.

The ad was created for Hong Kong-based retail group G2000 Apparel during

E-Book System's trial test campaign for FlipTimes.

According to the company, FlipBook technology allows internet users to

see advertisements posted in a format which is visually presented in a

traditional book form, with 3D graphics illustrated for turning

pages.

It also allows advertisers to use the same formats as traditional print

media - full, half and quarter page ads - in integrated advertising

campaigns.

According to AdSociety, the full-page ads are "unobtrusive, as they can

be flipped away (just like those in a magazine)".
