MEDIA: AXN gives on-air look a facelift to show its attitude

ASIA-PACIFIC: Action-adventure network AXN has revamped its on-air look with a new set of graphic elements.

The changes were introduced to the channel's three services - South Asia, East Asia and Taiwan - to reinforce AXN's contemporary programme line-up. Created by US design house mOcean Design, the graphics are backed by a signature tune to reflect AXN's adventurous, daring and irreverent attitude. It includes new-look channel IDs and information pages, with elements such as generic channel IDs, and 'Now', 'Next' and 'Coming Up' programme menus.

AXN's creative director Jacky Foo described the new on-air graphics as "probably among the most visually exciting, attitudinal and interactive on television today".

Foo added: "Words can only do so much, but a picture speaks a thousand words, and AXN's viewers are going to know exactly what they're in for."
