Mark Rogers departs as regional Dow Jones VP

The departure comes after a year in the role and more than a decade at the company.

Rogers appeared at the Campaign360 conference on 20 March in Singapore.

Mark Rogers is understood to have left his role as vice-president of Dow Jones Asia-Pacific.

Based in Hong Kong, Rogers spent more than a decade at Dow Jones, joining as international digital manager in 2007. He had served as vice-president for just over a year.

The reason for Rogers’ departure is unclear. He left abruptly shortly after hosting a panel discussion in Tokyo on 22 March on the topic of ‘what keeps CMOs up at night’.

Rogers could not be reached for comment. Toby Doman, a regional spokesperson for Dow Jones in Hong Kong, said the company did not have an official statement on the matter.

Katie Vanneck-Smith, who served as president and chief customer officer of Dow Jones, also stepped down recently.
